The Twitter community has been buzzing with speculation about the integration of cryptocurrencies and NFTs for quite some time now. One person who always manages to stir up excitement is Elon Musk, whether it’s by replacing the Twitter logo with Dogecoin or sharing an NFT like he did last week when he posted Punk 6529 along with a message that read “Seize the memes of production.” This move caused yet another surge in interest as evidenced by Dogecoin’s price increasing over 33%.
The Web3 community also joined in on this conversation and even Beeple, a renowned NFT artist created artwork inspired by Musk’s tweet which was shared across social media platforms including Twitter. The question remains though; how probable is it that we will see support from twitter towards integrating these new digital assets?

His previous use of the Bored Ape Yacht Club as his profile picture was just the beginning – recent developments suggest that NFTs and Web3 applications could soon be integrated into this social media giant.
Imagine if Twitter were to fully embrace NFTs; it would have an enormous impact on the market! With its massive reach, more people than ever before would gain access to these unique digital assets. It’s also possible that Twitter may even launch their own platform for buying/selling/trading NFTs or partner with existing marketplaces.
